语用与翻译国际学术研讨会会议通知

     由广东外语外贸大学主办，广东省普通高校人文社科重点研究基地――广东外语外贸大学翻译学研究中心、Asia Pacific Translation and Intercultural Studies（Routledge）、《解放军外国语学院学报》、《山东外语教学》、《广东外语外贸大学学报》联合承办的“语用与翻译国际学术研讨会”定于2014年12月12-14日在广东外语外贸大学举行。会议将邀请国内外著名专家、学者做主旨发言。欢迎全国高等院校、学界的专家、学者、青年教师及研究生参会研讨。

 

会议包括以下议题：

ž            关联、顺应、模因与翻译研究

ž            译者的语用能力和翻译能力研究

ž            外来词语与语用翻译研究

ž            语用翻译策略研究

ž            语料库翻译、机器翻译中的语用问题研究

ž            语用、中华文化传承与翻译研究

ž            其他与语用翻译相关的研究

 

工作语言：汉语/英语

有意与会者请于2014年8月31日前提交论文题目及中、英文摘要（中文500字内，英文300单词内），并附下文回执，发到组委会的电子邮箱gwyantaohui@163.com。

会议代表的住宿由组委会统一安排，费用自理。

International Conference on Pragmatics and Translation

 

Call for Papers

    The International Conference on Pragmatics and Translation (ICPT) will be held at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS), Guangzhou, China, on 12-14 December 2014. Organized by Center for Translation Studies GDUFS, and sponsored by some academic journals such as Asia Pacific Translation and Intercultural Studies(Routledge), Journal of PLA University of Foreign Languages, Shandong Foreign Language Teaching Journal and Journal of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, ICPT aims to bring together scholars, students and practitioners from China and other countries for an academic exchange. We will invite leading scholars in the field of pragmatics and translation to deliver keynote speeches on various topics. Interested scholars are welcomed to submit abstracts to the conference.

 

Topics:

The main topics to be covered include, but not limited to, the following:

ž           Relevance, Adaption, Meme and Translation

ž           Pragmatic competence and translation competence of the translators

ž           Borrowed words and pragmatic translation

ž           Pragmatic translation strategies

ž           Pragmatic issues in corpus-based translation and machine translation

ž           Pragmatics, Chinese cultural heritage and translation

Abstract for a 20-minute presentation should be submitted to gwyantaihui@163.com in electronic format (word).

Notification of acceptance: 5 September 2014

Normal rate: 800 RMB, or 150 USD
